In Nuevo Casas Grandes you will find the following tourist attractions:

The city counts with a lagoon, built in 1885, in which you will be able to practice fishing and water skiing.

At just 10 minutes from the city is located Casas Grandes, place where the Archaeological Zone of Paquime is located, which was declared as Cultural World Heritage by UNESCO. It is concluded that it was an urbanized city, built by culturally developed people. Archeologists and historians establish the similarities between the Paquime ceramics and the cultures Anasazi, Mogollon and Ocan from the southeast United States.

There is also the Culturas del Norte Museum (Cultures from the North Museum), one of the main museums in northern Mexico.

At 28 km is located Colonia Juarez, which is a traditional Mormon village with an architectonic seal evidently American. Among its many cultivation areas stands out the Juarez Academy, built in 1904, and its monumental temple on white marble.

At 15 km from Colonia Juarez is Hacienda de San Diego, owned by Mr. Luis Terrazas, who bought it in 1874.

At 36 km is located Juan Mata Ortiz, a pottery traditional village, where Mr. Juan Quezada lives, who gained fame for elaborating ceramic pieces inspired on Paquime, and who won the National Arts Award in 1999.

Towards north are located the Mennonite’s fields, where the famous Chihuahua’s cheeses are elaborated.
